The ability of humans to perform creative reasoning like bisociative thinking outstrips that of machines by far. However, in comparison to computers, humans are severely limited in terms of the amount of information they can assimilate and process. The BISON project aims to bridge this human-machine gap by developing a novel ICT methodology that is inspired by bisociative problem-solving strategies of the human mind. The BISON framework (conceptual and technical) will enable human problem solvers to closely map their creative thought processes in order to become more effective and efficient in their quest to create novel solutions.
The BISON project aims to develop novel methods for detecting relationships, analysing, querying, visualising and distributing weakly structured and unstructured graph data.
